Southern California will start the week with a warming trend that will last through at least Wednesday.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Southern California will start the week with a warming trend that will last through at least Wednesday.

In Los Angeles and Orange County, conditions on Monday will be partly cloudy with a high temperature of 79 degrees. The low will be 61.

Sunny skies are expected throughout the day in the valleys and the Inland Empire, where the high will be 87. The low temperature will be 64 degrees.

Morning clouds will give way to afternoon sunshine at the beaches. Look for a high temperature of 70 degrees and a low of 62.

The Mountains will have a high of 81 degrees amid sunny skies on Monday. The low temperature will drop to 51.

In most of the desert areas Monday, the high temperature will soar to 100 degrees while the low will be 68. Palm Springs will see a high of 110 degrees.
