Warm temperatures, sunshine on tap in SoCal Tuesday

Parts of Southern California on Tuesday will be in the 80s as warm temperatures are expected to remain through the week.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Parts of Southern California on Tuesday will be in the 80s as warm temperatures are expected to remain through the week.

Los Angeles and Orange counties on Tuesday will see morning clouds and afternoon sunshine, along with a high of 81 and a low of 59. Similar conditions are expected Wednesday.

The valleys and Inland Empire on Tuesday will experience temperatures in the upper 80s amid afternoon sunshine.

Morning clouds will give way to afternoon sunshine at the beaches. Look for a high temperature of 71 degrees and a low of 59.

The mountains will have a high of 83 degrees amid sunny skies on Tuesday. The low temperature will drop to 51.

In most of the desert areas Tuesday, the high temperature will soar to 101 degrees while the low will be 67. Palm Springs will see a high of 109 degrees.
